Dr. Suber's patient-centered practice philosophy is uncommon. First, he offers a comprehensive list of procedures to help you meet your goals, including breast augmentation, liposuction, abdominoplasty, facelift, body lift, BOTOX® injections, post-bariatric restorative surgery, and more. But perhaps most importantly (and most uncommon), Dr. Suber believes that as the most qualified individual in his office, he alone should perform every aspect of every procedure offered to his patients. Uniquely, this means he alone places (and removes) every suture, ties every knot, injects every unit of Botox or wrinkle filling material (Restylane, Juvaderm). Rest assured that you will not be pawned off to an office nurse or other staff member for any procedure Dr. Suber offers. Rest assured that (unlike elsewhere) there will be no one other than Dr. Suber operating on you while you are under anesthesia. He alone is at your full disposal for every aspect of any procedure performed, personally. Dr. Suber firmly believes that you deserve this exceptional and unique level of care.

Dr. Suber made the Upstate of South Carolina his home after having completed his training in plastic & reconstructive surgery at the prestigious MD Anderson and St. Joseph Hospitals in Houston, Texas. With the blend of these two institutions, Dr. Suber has had in his core training a unique combination of one of the broadest and most in depth exposures to both cosmetic surgery and reconstructive procedures available in the United States. through St. Joseph Hospital, he received additional advanced training in microvascular surgery. Dr. Suber is also fully trained in general surgery, which he completed in Pennsylvania.
A South Carolina native, Dr. Suber has had a keen interest in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery since his teens, having benefited from a broad exposure to multiple surgical specialties by his physician/surgeon father. In his early teens Dr. Suber earned the Eagle Scout award. He is an honor graduate of the College of Charleston (Biology/Music) and the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Suber has extensive experience in the full spectrum of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including cosmetic surgery of the face and body, skin cancer, body contouring and breast surgery, surgery of the hand (carpal tunnel, trigger finger, soft tissue tumors) and management of acute soft tissue trauma. Additionally, Dr. Suber has had one of the strongest exposures in the Carolinas to management of patients with excess skin and soft tissue resulting from massive weight loss (gastric bypass, lap banding, non-surgical weight loss).
Dr. Suber employs very capable and professional staff personnel to reflect the high quality of care in his plastic surgery practice. The front desk administrator and staff attend to the phones addressing patient calls, as well as initial contact during office consultations, and are an key component throughout the patient process. A fully trained nurse and aesthetician (skin care specialist) aids Dr. Suber with patients during all office procedures, provides the best in non-surgical skin care (offering appointments Monday through Friday), and is an additional valued resource for patients before and after surgery. The accounts manager offers personalized assistance to patients for all matters related to the handling of insurance and patient accounts.
